Wyoming Accepts the First DAO in the United States

Wyoming has become the first state in the United States to issue a blockchain-based corporate structure. The DAO will provide an alternative way for companies to raise capital, which is currently limited by federal law.

Wyoming has accepted the first DAO in the United States. The wyoming ducat is a digital currency that can be used to make transactions without relying on banks or other financial institutions.

  • The legal entity is known as the American CryptoFed.
  • Wyoming, a crypto-friendly state, welcomes DAO.
  • Fee-free transactions are possible using the Ducat, the DAO’s native stable token.

State that is crypto-friendly Wyoming is the first state in the United States to adopt DAO. On July 1, 2021, the Wyoming Secretary of State recognized the America CryptoFed DAO as a legal organization and issued a notification to that effect.

The American CryptoFed DAO launched mSHIFT, a mobile banking solution provider, on the same day. Furthermore, the project’s goal is to create a two-token economy that is unaffected by inflation or deflationary forces.

Marian Orr, CEO of the American CryptoFed DAO, says:

“Wyoming is the United States’ foremost digital asset jurisdiction, and with this DAO legislation, Wyoming is likely the world’s leading blockchain state. This implies that a genuine digital money with broad acceptability is now possible.”

Furthermore, Orr highlighted Ducat, the DAO’s native algorithmic stable token, and claimed that it supports fee-free transactions. The Ducat is based on the EOS blockchain, which employs delegated-proof-of-stake (DPoS) consensus to achieve fast transaction speeds at the cost of decentralization.

New tokens are generated and incentives are given to network users as a consequence of interest paid to Ducat holders. Machine learning dynamically changes Ducat incentives and interest rates, with the Ducat anticipated to increase in value against the USD in proportion to the dollar’s inflation rate.

Wyoming is a forerunner in the legalization of cryptocurrency.

Wyoming has lately served as a pioneer in the adoption of crypto laws in the United States. As a result, they collaborated with state regulators, including Caitlin Long of Avanti Bank & Trust, to develop a banking charter framework for crypto-firms.

In September 2020, Kraken obtained a Wyoming bank license, making it the first cryptocurrency firm to be allowed to operate as a bank. In October, Avanti did the same.

In March of this year, Wyoming became the first state in the nation to adopt laws recognizing DAOs as a distinct kind of limited liability corporation.
