NFL quarterback Tom Brady gives fan 1 BTC for his historic 600th-touchdown-pass ball

Tom Brady, who led the New England Patriots to victory in Super Bowl LI, has donated a bitcoin to an Eagles fan for his historic 600th touchdown pass. The ball was signed by both athletes and given away through raffle at the 2018 NFL Draft weekend event held in Philadelphia.

Tom Brady is a famous NFL quarterback, and he has been known for his achievements. He recently gave one of his historic 600th-touchdown-pass balls to a fan. The fan then decided to give Tom 1 BTC as a thank you gift.

Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers almost lost possession of the ball with his 600th touchdown throw, but now he’s paying for it… in Bitcoin.

Brady fired his 600th career touchdown pass to fellow teammate Mike Evans in a game between the Buccaneers and the Chicago Bears on Oct. 24 – he is the only person in NFL history to have ever thrown 600 touchdown touchdowns. The wide receiver, who seemed to be unaware of the importance of the ball, passed it to Byron Kennedy, a fan wearing an Evans jersey.

The ball might be valued anywhere between $500,000 and $900,000, according to Ken Goldin, the founder of sports memorabilia auction house Goldin Auctions. Kennedy seemed to relinquish the ball in return for a hazy promise of a meet-and-greet with the quarterback at first. Brady subsequently disclosed on Monday Night Football that he had promised the fan 1 Bitcoin (BTC) — around $62,081 at the time of writing — in exchange for immediately returning it.

Brady remarked, “There were a lot of talks in order to get the ball back.” “When Byron handed the ball away, he understood he’d lost all leverage […] In addition, I’m giving him a Bitcoin. That’s also quite awesome. At the end of the day, I believe he’s still doing well.”

Let’s strike a deal, @FTX Official… Let’s get him a Bitcoin, will we? https://t.co/emBFE1Lyr7

The Buccaneers have also agreed to give Kennedy two signed team jerseys, a helmet with Brady’s autograph, Mike Evans game cleats, a jersey signed by the wide receiver, season tickets for the rest of the year and through 2022, as well as a $1,000 credit toward purchases at the team’s store, according to Tampa Bay Times reporter Rick Stroud. Despite several experts expecting that the BTC price would climb, many people on the internet pointed out that Kennedy’s pay paled in comparison to the historic football.

“For the rest of my life, I would have gone for season tickets,” stated investigative reporter David Amelotti.

Brady is one of a slew of crypto-friendly elite sportsmen. He got tokens as part of an endorsement arrangement with crypto exchange FTX and developed his own nonfungible token platform called Autograph, where he aims to auction the 600th touchdown ball as an NFT.

Tom Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, gave a fan 1 BTC after he caught his 600th touchdown pass. The ball was auctioned off for $280000. Reference: tom brady bitcoin twitter.
